 A New Cartridge Filter for Agglomerative Dust
Ultra-Web® SB cartridge filters from Donaldson Torit are a new, tougher filter media for dust collection in chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, textile, grain, woodworking, metalworking, and many other manufacturing processes that face challenges from agglomerative dust.
The new filter media is an extension of Donaldson Torit’s Ultra-Web line of nanofiber media technology for industrial applications. Ultra-Web SB combines the excellent surface-loading and dust release capabilities of Ultra-Web nanofibers with a strong spunbond polyester substrate, to create filter cartridges with durability, moisture and chemical tolerance, long life, high efficiency, and significantly lower pressure drop for energy efficient operation when compared to spunbond or meltblown media.
Downflo® Oval Dust Collector - DFO
 Donaldson Torit Downflo Oval (DFO) dust collectors ensure you get cleaner air. The most versatile high performance collectors available today, the DFO is available in 33 standard models and is easily customized to configurations that exactly fit your needs.
Compared to competitive units, DFO provides a 25% increase in airflow capacity, improved airflow path, and 29% increase in pulse cleaning pressure — all in a compact, high-efficiency collector. The filter cartridges, oval-shaped to collect more dust than standard cylindrical, are made with our exclusive Ultra-Web® nanofiber technology that filters submicron dust and last up to twice as long as commodity filters.
Small DFO models are available as self-contained, plug-‘n-play units, with 1, 2, or 3 filters for dust collection in tight places or for portable use.

 Downflo® Technology in a Workstation Configuration – DWS
The Donaldson Torit Downflo WorkStation is flexible, modular, self-contained, and provides more filtration capability than other same-sized dust collector. DWS has several distinct features that prominently set it apart such as ledgeless construction, longer lasting oval-shaped Ultra-Web® cartridge filters with very high dust-holding capacity, and reversible inlets. Two base power modules provide the building blocks for more airflow capacity and larger model variations. Requires no hoods or ductwork, and recirculates clean air for energy savings.
 Downflo® Technology in a Dust Containment System – DCS
To provide more advanced filtration of pharmaceutical powders, Donaldson® Torit® introduces the new Downflo Containment System (DCS). Fully surrogate tested to OEL 3B, DCS is engineered to lower emissions and reduce exposure to potent compounds with a 2-stage filtration system, an integrated HEPA BIBO chamber under negative pressure that prevents leakage and unique positive, triple-sealed bag-in/bag-out arrangements.
